Sherri Rabinowitz - Author Interview

Please describe [Title of book] in 25 words or less: My novel is called Fantasy Time Inc. it is a time travel story with a twist. It is set in the future instead of going to travel agency to go to Hawaii, you get to go to a Time Travel Agency and book a trip to the past or the future. There is a lot of romance in it but there is also history and adventure.
What do you struggle with as a writer?
Finding time to write everything I am working on. There is not enough time in the day.
How long does it take you to write a story?
Depends on the story. Some pour out of my head others are harder they take longer but they both can end up beautiful. One of the hardest stories I ever wrote took me forever but I had a lot of great feed back on it.
How many books have you written? Are they part of a series?
Two books, the first was Murder Inc. an alternative murder mystery and this book
Fantasy Time Inc. which is a time travel story. No, they are not a series all they have in common is Inc. My next book does not and will not have that in it, I promise you.

What other projects are you working on?
I am working on a memior and historical drama.
If your book(s) were made into a TV Series, what actors would you choose to play your characters?
For Murder Inc. I would like Lucy Lawless and Renee O'Connor.
For Fantasy Time Inc.Kristen Davis and George Clooney
What is your favorite paranormal movie? The Ghost and Mrs. Muir
Who are your favorite authors? Agatha Christie, Ray Bradbury, Jane Austen and J.K Rowling.
Do you read the genres you write?
Yes, I read a lot so I love a lot of books.
If you could date one of your characters, who would it be?  Captain Morgan Why? He popped in my mind as a combo of a lot of my fave older movie stars, Clark Gable, Cary Grant with some Robert Wagner and Pierce Brosnan thrown in. It would be fun!
What has one of your fans said that made your day? That they wanted a sequel.
Do you have any advice for aspiring authors? Write. It sounds simple but to anyone who ever faced that blank page or screen it isn't. You have to start writing not talking about it. It's the only way to find your way and make your mistakes.

Quickies for Fun: (Because who doesn't like a quickie?)

Author/Book Info:

In the future we as a people will be going through many strange and conflicting changes. We will be traveling and living in space and under water. We will have an even better network of communications and transportations but we will still need to have a vacation and to relax from this antiseptic new environment. People will need an escape and most people dream of the future and the past, because no one romanticizes about their own time.
Sherri has been writing since she was a small child. She was inspired by Ray Bradbury and Agatha Christie. She had always loved writing but has had to make a living in a varied number of ways. She worked as an actress, a travel agent and in several forms of customer service. Her passion though has always been writing. She loves and enjoys both reading and writing fan fiction. Fantasy Time Inc. is her second work of original fiction and was nominated for the Global Ebook Award.
